  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the Italian sausage. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Stir in the chopped kale and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until wilted. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to fit your skillet. It should be slightly larger than the skillet diameter to allow for easy handling.
  5. Spread the pesto sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  6. Evenly distribute the cooked sausage and kale mixture on top of the pesto. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese over everything.
  7. Heat the skillet over medium heat for about 1-2 minutes to get it warm. Carefully transfer the pizza into the skillet.
