- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup Buffalo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 pound pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup blue cheese crumbles (optional)
- ½ cup sliced green onions (for garnish)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Cooking spray (for greasing the pan)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
- Season the chicken breasts with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Cook them in a skillet over medium heat for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until fully cooked. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Once cooled, shred the chicken into bite-sized pieces and mix it with the Buffalo sauce in a bowl. Set aside.
- Grease a large sheet pan with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
- On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to fit the size of the sheet pan. Transfer the dough to the greased pan, pressing it out to the edges.
- Place the sheet pan in the preheated oven and bake the dough for about 10 minutes, until slightly golden.
- Remove the pan from the oven and evenly distribute the shredded Buffalo chicken over the pre-baked crust. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese and blue cheese crumbles on top.
- Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Top with sliced green onions for added flavor and color.
- Cut the pizza into squares or slices and serve hot.
