Description
Savory Honey Garlic Steak And Potato Skillet is a quick and easy recipe with just five ingredients.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 pound baby potatoes, halved
- 1/4 cup honey
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Optional: fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Start by cutting the sirloin steak into bite-sized pieces and halving the baby potatoes.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add a splash of oil. Once hot, add the halved potatoes, season with salt and pepper, and cook for about 10 minutes or until they are tender and golden brown.
- Push the potatoes to one side of the skillet and add the steak pieces. Season with additional salt and pepper. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the steak is browned and cooked to your desired doneness.
- In a small bowl, mix together honey, minced garlic, and soy sauce. Pour this mixture over the steak and potatoes in the skillet.
- Stir everything together, ensuring the sauce covers the steak and potatoes evenly. Let it cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve immediately.
Notes
- For a lighter meal, swap the sirloin steak for chicken breast or shrimp.
