Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup (225g) unsalted butter, softened
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
- 1 teaspoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
- Soften the butter (10 minutes) — Leave your unsalted butter out at room temperature until it’s soft but not melted.
- Prep your herbs and garlic (5 minutes) — Mince the garlic finely and chop the parsley and chives.
- Mix the butter and flavorings (5 minutes) — In your mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, smoked paprika, parsley, chives, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Use a hand mixer on medium speed or vigorously stir with a fork until evenly incorporated and fluffy.
- Shape and chill (10 minutes) — Spoon the butter mixture onto plastic wrap or parchment paper, roll into a log shape, twist ends to seal, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or freeze for 30 minutes to firm up.
- Slice and serve — Once chilled and firm, slice into ¼ inch thick rounds and top hot steak or chicken before serving.
