Cuban-inspired pull-apart sliders filled with salty ham, rich garlic butter, and tangy pickles, perfect for any gathering.
Ingredients

- 12 slider buns (dinner roll or Hawaiian)
- 8–12 oz deli-style ham slices
- 12 slices Swiss or cheddar cheese
- Dill or bread-and-butter pickles, sliced thin
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced (or 1 tsp garlic powder)
- Yellow or Dijon mustard (optional)
- A pinch of onion powder (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant; remove from heat, and stir in onion powder, salt, and pepper if using.
- Slice the slider buns horizontally, keeping them intact.
- Layer ham, cheese, and pickles on the bottom halves of the buns. Place the top buns back over.
- Brush garlic-butter over the tops and between the cracks.
- Place the sliders in a baking dish and cover with foil. Bake for 15 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for an additional 8–10 minutes, until tops are golden. Let rest for 2–3 minutes before serving.
