- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Black pepper
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 package Pizza dough (store-bought or homemade) (Use your favorite dough type.)
- 1 egg Beaten for egg wash (This will give the breadsticks a golden color.)
- Jalapeños, herbs (Feel free to add your choice of toppings.)
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Drain any excess fat.
- Add in the diced bell peppers and onions, sauté until tender (about 5 minutes).
- Season with garlic powder, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning, stirring well to combine.
- Remove the skillet from heat and add shredded cheese to the beef mixture. Stir until melted.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle.
- Spoon the beef and cheese mixture onto the center of the dough, leaving space along the edges.
- Fold each side of the dough over the filling and pinch to seal. Cut into individual sticks.
- Place the breadsticks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and brush lightly with beaten egg.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let them cool slightly before serving with dipping sauces like marinara or ranch.
