- OR 4 cups prepared homemade brownies, baked and cooled
- 2 packages (3.4 oz each) instant vanilla pudding mix
- 3 cups cold milk
- Green food coloring (as needed)
- 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping, thawed
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar (optional)
- Green sprinkles
- Chocolate shavings
- Mini chocolate chips
- Crushed chocolate sandwich cookies
Instructions
- Prepare brownies according to package directions. Allow to cool completely, then cut into bite-sized cubes.
- Whisk together instant pudding mix and cold milk for about 2 minutes until thickened. Add green food coloring gradually until desired shade is reached. Let set for 5 minutes.
- Gently fold powdered sugar into whipped topping if extra sweetness is desired.
- In a clear trifle dish, layer brownie cubes, green pudding, and whipped topping. Repeat layers, finishing with whipped topping.
- Decorate with green sprinkles, chocolate shavings, or mini chocolate chips.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to allow flavors to meld.
