Description

These crack chicken sliders are warm, creamy, and packed with cheesy ranch flavor in every bite.


Ingredients

  • 16 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 ounce ranch seasoning mix
  • 2 tsp. onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp. cracked black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup green onion, sliced thin + extra for topping
  • 2 1/2 cups cooked, shredded chicken breast
  • 1/3 cup bacon bits (or bacon, cooked and crumbled)
  • 2 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 12 count Hawaiian rolls
  • 3 tbsp. butter
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and lightly spray a 9×13 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a medium saucepan over low to medium heat, add the cream cheese and warm it gently until softened and beginning to melt.
  3. Stir in the ranch seasoning, onion powder, pepper, and garlic powder, mixing until smooth and well combined.
  4. Transfer the cream cheese mixture to a large mixing bowl.
  5. Add the cooked chicken, bacon bits, and half of the shredded cheese, then fold everything together until evenly coated.
  6. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom halves into the prepared baking dish.
  7. Spread the crack chicken mixture evenly over the rolls.
  8. Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheese over the top.
  9. Place the top halves of the rolls over the filling.
  10. Loosely cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  11. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the tops are lightly golden.
  12. While the sliders finish baking, melt the butter in a microwave-safe bowl for about 30 seconds.
  13. Brush the melted butter over the tops of the rolls.
  14. Finish by sprinkling with Parmesan cheese and extra green onions before serving.
