Instructions
- Prepare the Oreo crust base by finely crushing about half of the Oreos (approx. 12 cookies) in a food processor or by placing them in a resealable bag and crushing them with a rolling pin. Set aside.
- Craft the creamy cheesecake filling by combining softened cream cheese, 1/4 cup powdered sugar, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract in a medium bowl. Beat until smooth and creamy. Fold in the finely crushed Oreos from Step 1 until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
- Assemble the Oreo cheesecake bites by separating the refrigerated biscuit dough. Flatten each biscuit slightly and place a heaping teaspoon of the cheesecake filling in the center. Carefully wrap the biscuit dough around the filling, pinching to seal completely.
- Coat the assembled bites by rolling each one in 1 cup of crushed Oreos, ensuring even coverage. Prepare your frying station by heating vegetable oil in a deep pot over medium heat to approximately 350°F (175°C).
- Fry the bites carefully in batches for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from oil and let cool slightly on a wire rack.
- Create the sweet glaze by whisking together 1 cup powdered sugar, 2-3 tablespoons milk, and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract until smooth and pourable. Drizzle the glaze generously over the slightly cooled bites and serve warm.
