  • 1 black tea bag
  • 1/2 cup fresh-squeezed orange juice (or store-bought)
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 34 whole cloves
  • 1 star anise (optional)
  • 12 tsp honey (to taste)
  • Fresh orange slices and a cinnamon stick (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Boil the Water: Bring 1 cup of water to a boil in a small pot.
  2. Add Spices: Once the water reaches a low boil, add cinnamon stick, cloves, and optional star anise. Let the spices simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes to infuse the flavors.
  3. Add Tea: Add the black tea bag and brew for about 3 minutes more.
  4. Add Orange Juice: Stir in the fresh-squeezed orange juice.
  5. Strain and Sweeten: Strain into a cup and stir in the honey. Mix well until the honey is dissolved.
