- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 tablespoon orange zest
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, beat the eggs. Then stir in the ricotta, milk, and melted butter until well combined.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and whisk just until combined (do not overmix).
- Fold in the orange zest and chocolate chips.
- Heat a lightly oiled griddle or nonstick skillet over medium heat.
- Scoop the batter by 1/4 cupfuls onto the griddle and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown.
- Serve the pancakes warm, drizzled with maple syrup and topped with additional orange slices or zest if desired.
