Description
This One Pot Marry Me Shrimp and Orzo is a rich, creamy Tuscan-inspired seafood dinner made with juicy shrimp, tender orzo, sun-dried tomatoes, and a garlic-Parmesan cream sauce.

- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 pound raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
- 1 cup orzo pasta
- 2 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 cups fresh spinach or baby kale (optional)
- Optional garnish: fresh basil or parsley
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season shrimp with salt and pepper and cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, add garlic and red pepper flakes. Cook 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir in sun-dried tomatoes and orzo. Toast for 1–2 minutes.
- Add broth, heavy cream, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a simmer.
- Cover and cook 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until orzo is tender.
- Stir in Parmesan and spinach until wilted.
- Return shrimp to the pan and toss gently until creamy and heated through.
- Garnish with fresh herbs and extra cheese if desired.
