  • 1 cup orzo pasta
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large oven-safe skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked.
  3. Add the chopped onion, garlic, and bell pepper to the skillet and sauté until softened.
  4. Stir in the orzo, diced tomatoes, beef broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  5. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
