- 1 pound Italian Sausage (Remove casings if using links)
- 3 cloves Minced Garlic (Fresh garlic is recommended)
- 1 large Egg (Essential for binding)
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce (Adds depth; swap with soy sauce if needed)
- 1 cup Breadcrumbs (Plain or Italian-seasoned works great)
- 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese (Freshly grated for maximum flavor)
- 1 tablespoon Italian Seasoning (Can substitute with oregano or basil)
- 1 teaspoon Salt (Adjust according to taste)
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper (Adjust according to taste)
- 24 ounces Marinara Sauce (Any quality jar will do)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, Italian sausage, minced garlic, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until just combined.
- Using lightly dampened hands, roll the mixture into 1.5 to 2-inch meatballs.
- Arrange the meatballs on a foil-lined baking sheet and broil at 500°F for approximately 8 minutes, or until they develop a golden crust.
- Carefully transfer the broiled meatballs to your slow cooker. Pour the marinara sauce over them.
- Cover the slow cooker and cook on high for 4 hours or on low for 8 hours.
- Once cooked, serve the meatballs hot over your favorite pasta or in a hearty sub.
