Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a separate bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg, mint extract, and a few drops of green food coloring to the butter mixture and mix until well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and crushed peppermint candies.
- Using a cookie scoop, place dough onto the prepared baking sheet and flatten slightly with a fork.
