Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a separate bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the egg, mint extract, and a few drops of green food coloring to the butter mixture and mix until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips and crushed peppermint candies.
  7. Using a cookie scoop, place dough onto the prepared baking sheet and flatten slightly with a fork.
