Description

Soft, chewy chocolate chip cookies with crispy edges and a hit of sea salt—perfectly craveable.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 sticks salted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 1/4 cups chocolate chips/chunks
  • Flaky sea salt, for topping

Instructions

  1. Cream butter and sugars 3 minutes.
  2. Beat in eggs and vanilla for 2 minutes.
  3. Mix flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Add to wet ingredients. Stir in chocolate.
  5. Chill dough at least 2 hours.
  6. Preheat oven to 360°F. Line baking sheets.
  7. Scoop dough (2 Tbsp), place on sheets, sprinkle sea salt.
  8. Bake 10–11 minutes. Slam pan after baking.
  9. Sprinkle with more salt. Cool 2 minutes on tray, then transfer to rack.
