  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese (shredded) (Cheddar can be used for stronger taste.)
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh lemon juice (White wine vinegar can substitute.)
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish) (Basil or chives can be used.)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Rinse the broccoli florets under cold water and dry them thoroughly.
  3. Combine olive oil, minced garlic, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.
  4. Toss the broccoli florets in the oil mixture until they’re evenly coated.
  5. Spread the broccoli on a parchment-lined baking sheet in a single layer.
  6. Roast in the oven for 15 minutes, or until tender and slightly browned.
  7. Remove the tray from the oven and sprinkle grated Parmesan and shredded mozzarella over the broccoli.
  8. Return to the oven for another 5 minutes until the cheese melts and is bubbly.
  9. Drizzle fresh lemon juice over the broccoli.
  10. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
