- 1 lb medium-sized carrots
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 4–6 slices thick or regular cut bacon
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with foil or parchment.
- Wash, peel, and cut the carrots into 2-inch batons or halved lengthwise.
- In a mixing bowl, drizzle the carrots with maple syrup and toss to coat.
- Chop the bacon into small pieces and sprinkle over the carrots.
- Spread the carrots and bacon on the baking sheet in a single layer.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, checking at 15 minutes for tenderness and crispiness of bacon. Broil for 1–2 minutes if needed.
- Remove from the oven and serve warm.
