Description

Ingredients

  • 8 oz elbow macaroni
  • 1 cup fresh lobster meat, chopped
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook elbow macaroni in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Stir in flour and cook for about one minute until bubbly.
  3. Gradually whisk in milk, stirring constantly until thickened. Reduce heat to low and stir in cheddar cheese until melted.
  4. Combine cooked macaroni and lobster meat into the cheese sauce, mixing well.
  5. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  6. In a small bowl, mix breadcrumbs with Parmesan cheese and sprinkle over the top.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
