- 8 oz elbow macaroni
- 1 cup fresh lobster meat, chopped
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 cups whole milk
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Cook elbow macaroni in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Stir in flour and cook for about one minute until bubbly.
- Gradually whisk in milk, stirring constantly until thickened. Reduce heat to low and stir in cheddar cheese until melted.
- Combine cooked macaroni and lobster meat into the cheese sauce, mixing well.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix breadcrumbs with Parmesan cheese and sprinkle over the top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
