  • 1 red bell pepper (thinly sliced)
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 cup sliced shiitake mushrooms (or cremini)
  • 1/4 cup gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • toasted sesame seeds
  • sliced green onions
  • kimchi
  • fried egg

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, mirin, minced garlic, grated ginger, and black pepper. Add sliced steak and marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together gochujang, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Set aside.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté red onion for 2-3 minutes, then add red bell pepper and broccoli. Cook for another 3-4 minutes. Add shiitake mushrooms and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
