Ingredients

  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 cups cauliflower florets
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large pot, bring water to a boil and blanch the broccoli and cauliflower for 3-4 minutes.
  3. Drain and set aside.
  4. In a saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  5. Add heavy cream, onion powder, salt, and pepper, and bring to a simmer.
  6. Stir in cheddar and Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  7. Combine the blanched vegetables with the cheese sauce and mix well.
  8. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with additional cheese if desired.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and golden on top.
