Ingredients

  • 1 can Condensed milk
  • 200 g Soft light brown sugar
  • 100 g Butter
  • 100 ml Full-fat milk
  • 3 tbsp White miso paste
  • 1 pinch Sea salt

Instructions

  1. Line a 20cm square baking tin with greaseproof paper.
  2. Combine all ingredients except for the sea salt into a large nonstick pan and heat over medium until it reaches a rolling boil at 112–114°C, stirring constantly for about 10 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat, let it cool for 2 minutes, then whisk vigorously for about a minute.
  4. Pour into the lined tin and sprinkle the sea salt over the top. Allow it to cool at room temperature for 2 hours.
