- 4 boneless chicken breasts (600–700g)
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 240ml chicken broth
- 120ml heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Heat butter and olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken until golden on both sides, then remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, cook onion until soft, then add garlic and sauté briefly.
- Pour in chicken broth and stir to lift browned bits.
- Add cream, thyme, and parsley. Stir until smooth.
- Return chicken to the pan and simmer for 15–20 minutes until fully cooked and tender.
- Spoon sauce over chicken and serve warm.
