Ingredients

  • 4 boneless chicken breasts (600–700g)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 240ml chicken broth
  • 120ml heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat butter and olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken until golden on both sides, then remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, cook onion until soft, then add garlic and sauté briefly.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and stir to lift browned bits.
  5. Add cream, thyme, and parsley. Stir until smooth.
  6. Return chicken to the pan and simmer for 15–20 minutes until fully cooked and tender.
  7. Spoon sauce over chicken and serve warm.
