- 200g High Protein Pasta
- 250g Cottage Cheese (Hüttenkäse)
- 50ml Milk
- 1 clove Garlic, minced
- Salt to taste
- Black Pepper to taste
- Optional: Fresh Parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the high protein pasta according to package directions until al dente. Reserve about 1/2 cup of pasta water before draining.
- While the pasta cooks, prepare the creamy sauce. In a blender or food processor, combine the cottage cheese and milk. Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Heat a pan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour the blended cottage cheese mixture into the pan. Stir well to combine with the garlic.
- Season the creamy sauce with salt and black pepper to your liking.
- Add the drained high protein pasta to the pan with the sauce. Toss to coat the pasta evenly.
- If the sauce is too thick, add a little of the reserved pasta water, a tablespoon at a time, until you reach your desired consistency.
- Serve the creamy high protein pasta immediately. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, you can add a tablespoon of nutritional yeast to the sauce.
- Add cooked chicken or shrimp for an extra protein boost.
- This dish is a great base for adding vegetables like spinach or broccoli.
