Description
This refreshing drink combines the floral notes of hibiscus with the subtle flavor of pear leaves, perfect for a warm day.
Ingredients

- 2 cups dried hibiscus flowers
- 1 cup fresh pear leaves
- 4 cups water
- ½ cup pear juice
- 1–2 tablespoons honey or agave syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Fresh pear slices for garnish
- Ice cubes for serving
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Add the dried hibiscus flowers and fresh pear leaves to the boiling water and stir gently.
- Reduce heat to low and let simmer for 15-20 minutes.
- Remove from heat and steep for an additional 10 minutes.
- Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher.
- Stir in the pear juice, honey or agave syrup, and vanilla extract if using.
- Taste and adjust sweetness as desired.
- Allow to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until chilled.
- Serve over ice cubes, garnished with fresh pear slices.
