- 1 pound fresh green beans (trimmed)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Blanch the green beans in boiling water for 3-4 minutes until bright green, then drain and set aside.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.
- Add the heavy cream to the saucepan and bring to a simmer, then stir in the cheddar cheese until melted and smooth.
- Season the cheese sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
- In a baking dish, combine the green beans with the cheese sauce and mix well to coat.
- Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs evenly over the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
