- 1 cup Cane Sugar
- 1 cup Egg Noodles
- 4 cups Milk
- 10 Eggs
- ⅓ cup Butter
- ⅙ teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Instructions
- Bring a pot of water to a boil, add a little salt, and cook the noodles for half the time indicated on the package. If using homemade noodles, cook for one minute.
- While the noodles boil, prepare the pudding mix by cracking 10 eggs into a large bowl and adding sugar and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
- Drain the cooked noodles and set them aside to cool, adding a few drops of melted butter or oil to prevent sticking.
- Continue preparing the pudding mix by adding milk and melted butter, and mix well. Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C) and place a tray with hot water at the bottom of the oven for even baking.
- Add the cooled noodles to the pudding mixture and mix thoroughly. Line a baking dish with parchment paper, pour in the mixture, and use a fork to evenly distribute the noodles.
- Bake in the preheated oven for one hour or until golden brown. Let the pudding cool completely in the dish before cutting and serving.
- Cut into small cubes for serving or as preferred. Enjoy this delightful treat filled with the taste and aroma of childhood!
