- 1 lb potato gnocchi
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup chicken broth

- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
- 1 tsp dried Italian herbs
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken pieces and season with salt, black pepper, and dried Italian herbs. Cook the chicken until golden brown and fully cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn it to preserve its flavor.
- Pour in the chicken broth and use a wooden spoon to scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan, enhancing the sauce’s flavor.
- Add the potato gnocchi to the skillet and bring the mixture to a simmer. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the gnocchi starts to soften and become tender.
- Reduce the heat to medium-low and stir in the heavy cream. Let the sauce simmer gently for another 2 to 3 minutes until it thickens slightly.
