Description
This recipe for the best lobster tail delivers succulent, tender lobster meat topped with a flavorful garlic herb butter and broiled to perfection.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 lobster tails
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon thyme, minced
- 1 teaspoon rosemary, minced
- 1 teaspoon parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to the broil setting or 500 degrees Fahrenheit. Using kitchen shears, carefully butterfly each lobster tail by cutting down the center of the shell. Gently loosen the lobster meat from the shell and pull it upward, leaving the meat resting on top of the shell for even cooking. Season the meat with salt and pepper, then place the lobster tails on a baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, paprika, thyme, rosemary, and parsley until well combined.
- Evenly spread the garlic herb butter mixture over each lobster tail. Place the baking sheet under the broiler and cook for about 8 to 10 minutes, or until the lobster meat turns opaque and develops a lightly browned surface.
- Remove from the oven and serve immediately. Optionally, provide additional melted butter on the side for dipping.
Notes
- Keep a close eye while broiling to avoid overcooking.
- Serve with lemon wedges for added flavor.
