- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried thyme or Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 cup chicken broth or water
- Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and thyme.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and sear 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Reduce heat to low and add butter and minced garlic. Cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add chicken broth and simmer for 5–7 minutes until chicken is cooked through and sauce slightly thickens.
- Spoon garlic butter sauce over chicken and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
