- 1/4 cup tahini
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup warm water
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- Pita bread, for serving
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine the drained and rinsed fava beans, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, warm water, cumin, coriander, and salt. Stir well to mix.
- Heat the bean mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until heated through and the flavors have melded, about 5-7 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley.
- Serve the Ful Medames warm, with pita bread on the side.
