Instructions

- Whisk together yogurt, sugar, and vanilla in another bowl until smooth and creamy.
- Sift flour, baking powder, and salt into the yogurt mixture. Stir in the lemon zest.
- Fold dry ingredients into the yogurt mixture, then add whipped egg whites in three parts.
- Pour the batter into your prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool the cake in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.
