- 2 filet mignon steaks
- 1 cup shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup cooked lobster meat, chopped
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Bring steaks to room temperature for 20–30 minutes. Pat dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, add butter and let it foam.
- Sear the steaks for 4–5 minutes per side for medium-rare. Adjust time for thickness.
- Transfer steaks to a plate and tent loosely with foil. Rest for 5–7 minutes.
- Reduce heat to medium, add minced garlic, and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add shrimp and lobster meat, cooking until shrimp turn pink and opaque (about 2–3 minutes).
- Pour in the heavy cream, stir, and simmer until the sauce thickens (3–5 minutes).
- Stir in chopped parsley and adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Plate the rested filets and spoon the shrimp and lobster cream sauce over the steaks. Serve immediately.
