These Best Ever Pecan Pie Bars are a handheld version of classic pecan pie, gooey and rich without the hassle of a pie crust.
Ingredients

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 4 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups pecans, halved or coarsely chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine butter, flour, and granulated sugar. Mix until crumbly.
- Press the crust mixture evenly into the pan and bake for 18–20 minutes until lightly golden.
- In another bowl, whisk together corn syrup, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt.
- Stir pecans into the filling mixture.
- Pour the filling evenly over the warm crust and spread if needed.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the center is set and the edges are golden.
- Cool completely in the pan before slicing into bars.
