Description
A flavorful dish featuring tender, juicy steak topped with a luscious garlic butter sauce and sautéed zucchini, perfect for a satisfying meal.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound Steak (Choose your favorite cut (e.g., ribeye, sirloin))
- 2 medium Zucchini (Sliced into rounds or half-moons)
- 4 tablespoons Butter (Unsalted, for a rich flavor)
- 4 cloves Garlic (Minced, to pack in that punch of flavor)
- to taste Salt (Enhances the flavor of your steak and veggies)
- to taste Black pepper (For added warmth)
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil (Helps in searing the steak perfectly)
- Fresh parsley (Chopped, for garnish (optional))
Instructions
- Gather all your ingredients. Ensure your steak is at room temperature for even cooking.
- Generously season both sides of the steak with salt and black pepper.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Once it’s shimmering, add the steak.
- Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until your desired doneness is achieved. Remove from the pan and let it rest on a plate, covered with foil.
- In the same skillet, add the zucchini slices. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes until they’re tender and have a slight golden color.
- Lower the heat to medium and add butter and minced garlic to the pan with the zucchini. Stir frequently for about 1-2 minutes until the garlic is fragrant.
- Slice the rested steak and return it to the skillet, tossing gently with the zucchini and garlic butter for an extra moment to combine flavors.
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley if desired, serve hot, and enjoy!
