Description

These Easter Ham and Cheddar Pinwheels are delightful spiral appetizers featuring savory ham, sharp cheddar cheese, and cream cheese wrapped in soft tortillas.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large flour tortillas (10-inch)
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • 810 slices deli ham
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chives (chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • Optional: 1/4 cup diced pickles or roasted red peppers

Instructions

  1. Start by preparing your cream cheese mixture. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream, beating them together until smooth.
  2. Add the Dijon mustard, garlic powder, black pepper, and paprika to your cream cheese mixture, stirring until well combined.
  3. Fold in the shredded cheddar cheese and chopped fresh chives.
  4. Lay your tortillas flat on a clean work surface. Spread about 1/4 of the cream cheese mixture evenly over each tortilla.
  5. Layer 2-3 slices of deli ham over the cream cheese on each tortilla.
  6. Starting from one edge, tightly roll up each tortilla.
  7. Refrigerate the wrapped tortilla rolls for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
  8. When ready to serve, unwrap the rolls and place them on a cutting board. Trim off the uneven ends, then slice each roll into 1/2 to 3/4-inch thick rounds.
