Description
These bite-sized Easter Bunny Button Cookies are perfect for holiday nibbling, soft and buttery, and festive with pastel M&M decorations.

- 1 cup butter, softened
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 2 large egg yolks
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2⅓ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup sanding sugar
- ½ cup pastel M&M candies
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream the softened butter with the sugar until light and fluffy, about 2–3 minutes.
- Add the egg yolks and vanilla extract and mix until incorporated.
- Gradually add the flour, mixing on low speed until just combined.
- Scoop teaspoon-sized portions of dough, roll into balls, and coat in sanding sugar. Place them spaced about 1 inch apart on the baking sheet.
- Press one pastel M&M into the center of each ball, flattening slightly.
- Bake for 10 minutes until set and lightly browned on the bottom. Let cool on the baking sheet for 3–5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
