- 2 chicken breasts
- 12 oz fettuccine pasta
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cloves garlic
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the fettuccine until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain.
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook until golden and fully cooked, about 5–7 minutes per side. Slice into strips.
- In the same pan, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and let it simmer gently for 3–4 minutes.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.
- Add cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to coat. Use reserved pasta water if needed to loosen the sauce.
- Top with sliced chicken, sprinkle with parsley, and serve warm.
