This Dried Tomato Bread combines sun-dried tomatoes and garlic for a flavorful loaf that’s perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients

- 4 cups All-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons Active dry yeast
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
- 2 teaspoons Salt
- 1.5 cups Warm water (around 110°F)
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
- 1 cup Sun-dried tomatoes (chopped)
- 3 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 0.5 cup Fresh basil (chopped)
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
Instructions
- Mix warm water, yeast, and sugar together in a bowl. Let sit for 5 minutes until bubbly.
- Combine flour, salt, and olive oil in a large mixing bowl. Pour in activated yeast mixture, and mix until combined. Knead for 8 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Incorporate sun-dried tomatoes, garlic, basil, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan cheese into the dough. Knead for an additional 3 minutes.
- Place the dough in an oiled bowl and cover with a towel. Let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Punch down the dough gently. Shape it into a loaf and let it rise again for another 30 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Score the top of the loaf with a knife and bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool the bread on a wire rack for 15 minutes before slicing.
