Description

Dirty Dr Pepper is a fizzy soda with coconut, sweet cream and a hint of lime. The cream makes it smooth, and the lime keeps it fresh. It’s a fun and flavorful drink!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tablespoons half-and-half (or heavy cream)
  • 1/4 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Ice (preferably crushed or pebble ice)
  • 1 (12-ounce) can Dr Pepper, chilled
  • 2 teaspoons fresh lime juice
  • 2 teaspoons coconut syrup (Monin preferred for flavor)
  • 2 teaspoons sweet cream
  • 1 lime wedge, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a small cup, combine the half-and-half and sugar. Stir until the sugar is fully dissolved.
  2. Add the vanilla extract and mix well.
  3. Fill a tall glass about 3/4 full with crushed or cubed ice.
  4. Pour them over the ice and stir gently.
  5. Pour Dr Pepper into the glass. Do this slowly to help preserve the carbonation. Add a splash of sweet cream on top. Give the drink a light stir – just to combine the flavors without losing all the fizz from the Dr Pepper.
  6. Add a wheel of lime to the rim of your glass. Enjoy immediately.
