- 2 cups pitted cherries (or any preferred fruit)
- 1 cup milk
- 3 large eggs
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Butter (for greasing)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish with butter.
- Evenly place the pitted cherries in the greased dish.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar until combined.
- Add milk and vanilla extract to the egg mixture and continue whisking until smooth.
- Gradually stir in the flour and salt until everything is well combined.
- Pour the batter over the cherries in the baking dish.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, until the Clafoutis is puffed and golden.
- Allow it to cool slightly before serving.
