Description

Ingredients

  • 4 slices rye bread
  • 8 ounces corned beef
  • 1 cup sauerkraut
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 tablespoons Thousand Island dressing

Instructions

  1. Butter one side of each slice of rye bread.
  2. Place corned beef, sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese on the unbuttered side of one slice.
  3. Spread Thousand Island dressing on the other slice and close the sandwich with the buttered sides facing out.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat and place the sandwich in the pan.
  5. Cook for about 3-4 minutes per side, until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  6. Cut and serve warm.
