Delicious Cuban Sandwich Cubano
Ingredients

- 1 loaf Cuban bread
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 8 slices Swiss cheese
- 1/2 lb deli ham
- 1/2 lb roasted pork
- 1/3 cup dill pickles
- 3 tbsp yellow mustard
- Optional 6 slices salami
Instructions
- Slice the Cuban bread horizontally and lightly butter the outer sides.
- Spread mustard evenly on the inside of both halves.
- Layer Swiss cheese on both sides of the bread.
- Add ham evenly across one side.
- Layer the roasted pork on top of the ham.
- Add pickles evenly across the pork.
- Add salami if making a Tampa-style version.
- Close the sandwich and gently press it together.
- Heat a sandwich press or skillet over medium heat.
- Grill and press the sandwich for 4–6 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
- Flip if using a skillet to ensure even cooking.
- Rest for 1–2 minutes, slice diagonally, and serve warm.
