- 3 lbs boneless & skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
- Sprinkle the salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder evenly over the chicken.
- Pour the chicken broth over the top.
- Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours, until the chicken is tender and easy to shred.
- Shred the chicken directly in the slow cooker using two forks.
- Stir the shredded chicken back into the cooking juices so it stays moist and flavorful.
- Serve on brioche buns, or use the chicken for meal prep. Add BBQ sauce if you like and garnish with parsley before serving.
