Description

This crockpot pizza dip is layered with a creamy, cheesy base, rich pizza sauce, and melty mozzarella topped with pepperoni. It’s an easy slow cooker appetizer that’s perfect for game day, parties, or anytime you need a guaranteed crowd-pleaser.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 3 cups mozzarella (divided)
  • 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1/4 cup mini pepperonis
  • Basil (chopped for topping)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat together the sour cream, softened cream cheese, garlic powder, salt, oregano, 2 cups of mozzarella, and the Parmesan until smooth and creamy. Spread the mixture evenly into a 6-quart slow cooker.
  2. Spoon the pizza sauce right over the top and gently spread it into an even layer. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella over the sauce, then add the pepperoni on top.
  3. Cover and cook on HIGH for about 2 hours, until hot and bubbly.
  4. Sprinkle with chopped fresh basil just before serving. Serve warm with sliced baguette, chips, or crackers for dipping.
