Ingredients

- 2 pounds beef stew meat
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup red wine
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 pound gnocchi
Instructions
- In a large pot, brown the beef stew meat on all sides.
- Add onions and garlic, cooking until soft.
- Pour in red wine, beef broth, and tomato sauce.
- Stir in sugar, vinegar, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Cover and simmer for 2 hours until the beef is tender.
- Meanwhile, cook the gnocchi according to package instructions.
- Serve the beef sauce over the gnocchi.
