Ingredients

  • 2 cups Brussels sprouts, shredded
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine shredded Brussels sprouts, flour, Parmesan cheese, egg, green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix until well combined and form into small fritters.
  3. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  4. Fry the fritters for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix mayonnaise, basil, lemon juice, and minced garlic to create the aioli.
  6. Serve the fritters hot with the Tomato Basil Aioli on the side.
