- 2 cups Brussels sprouts, shredded
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic, minced
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine shredded Brussels sprouts, flour, Parmesan cheese, egg, green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until well combined and form into small fritters.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Fry the fritters for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
- In a separate bowl, mix mayonnaise, basil, lemon juice, and minced garlic to create the aioli.
- Serve the fritters hot with the Tomato Basil Aioli on the side.
