Description

Quick and flavorful bacon-wrapped jalapeño poppers that are perfect for appetizers or snacks. Crispy on the outside with a creamy cheesy filling.


Ingredients

  • 12 medium fresh jalapeños, washed and halved lengthwise
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 12 slices thin-cut bacon
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika (optional)
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Slice each jalapeño in half lengthwise and scoop out seeds and membranes.
  2. In a bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth, then mix in cheddar, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spoon cheese mixture into each jalapeño half.
  4. Wrap each jalapeño with a slice of bacon, tucking ends under or securing with a toothpick.
  5. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Arrange poppers in air fryer basket.
  6. Cook for about 7 minutes, flip, and cook for another 5-8 minutes until bacon is golden and crisp.
  7. Let poppers rest briefly before serving warm.
