Ingredients

  • 12 oz white chocolate chips
  • 14 oz sweetened condensed milk (1 can)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional mix-ins: crushed peppermint candies, chopped toasted pecans, mini marshmallows

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang on the sides.
  2. In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine the butter and sweetened condensed milk. Stir gently until the butter is melted and the mixture is smooth and warm.
  3. Add the white chocolate chips to the warm mixture. Stir constantly until the chips are fully melted and the mixture is creamy and glossy.
  4. Remove the pan from heat and stir in vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
  5. If using, fold in peppermint bits, nuts, or mini marshmallows.
  6. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan, smoothing the top with a spatula. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until fully set.
  7. Once set, lift the candy out using the parchment overhang and slice into small squares.
