A quick and easy creamy ricotta dip with a sweet and spicy hot honey drizzle, perfect for wine night snacks.
Ingredients

- 1 cup (250g) whole milk ricotta cheese
- 2 tablespoons hot honey (or regular honey mixed with a pinch of cayenne or chili flakes)
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
- ½ teaspoon flaky sea salt
- Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh herbs such as thyme or basil (optional)
Instructions
- Spoon ricotta into a mixing bowl and whisk or stir with a fork until smooth and creamy, no lumps.
- Add olive oil and freshly squeezed lemon juice; stir gently to combine.
- Sprinkle in salt and optional red pepper flakes; mix until evenly distributed. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
- Transfer the ricotta mixture to a serving bowl or plate, smoothing the top with the back of a spoon.
- Drizzle hot honey generously over the top. Optionally sprinkle extra red pepper flakes or flaky sea salt.
- Scatter chopped fresh herbs on top if desired.
